Along side our custom photo's we have started working on a range of other style photoshoots. Based mainly on greenscreen but they can be designed from existing photo's. Here is an example of a star wars baby shoot.

3 Photo's for a lovely family

Good Evening, So today I got an order for 3 photo's from a  very nice family. The first one was James Bond, the Second was of The Shining, and the 3rd for the couples younger daughter who wanted to be Buffy, so I thought I would share for you guys.

The Bond and The Shining are 2 I have already done, so It was just a matter of taking the original design and transforming the face to fit.

And for the daughter I had to start from fresh. It is also her birthday tomorrow (it was the mothers today!) so I am really hoping this one works as she is young and didn't want to pose for a photo.

The Parents were great but kids being kids the little one was having none of it. This was the cleanest shot we had to use.

I am going to try to move the eyes, but I don't think it will work, would have been a great photo but she didn't want to look at the camera.

Second one coming up shortly. after I try and get her to look at the camera

update: the eyes didn't look right once they were moved, so binned that idea, here's the second photo.

I do hope she likes them.

Just doing a quick photo, but can't figure out which one I prefer, what do you guys think, both are not finished by quite a way, but which of Paige's face do you prefer?

Proper Work

Hey folks have to do some proper commissioned work today so I thought I'd share that process with you.

Brief: Design a Logo/Label  for a Micro Brewery in Porthcawl, South Wales called "The Salty Sea Dog" Due to open next year.

Now that Client wants the Porthcawl Lighthouse/Pier and the sea as a wide shot and a Dog in the forground.

And the logo to be encased in a oval, Rugby ball shape.

This causes a few Challenges in make the piece work, from a size point of view the logo will appear on things like Beer bottles Etc. So will be quite small.

The Images I am Currently Working with are:

 Porthcawl. love the colors here, my choice of backdrop

 Porthcawl Lighthouse, as you can see adding a dog to this shot is likely to look weird.




A Dog, now the customer wants a dog shaking water off, which I think is going to look too busy on a small image, and when you try to add it to a new backdrop could causes all sorts of mess. so....



My Preferred Mutt, lets call him Burt.

Another dog shaking like there's no tomorrow, again same problem as the first dog.

First stage, added the pier and lighthouse to the better background, overlapped the water a little.

 Second Stage added Fred, or burt or whatever we were calling him, turned the lighthouse around to save on shading a little. recolored the rocks next to pier and moved the foreground big rocks to the left, as if I put the dog on the original rocks, it sort of took away the focal point of the waves hitting the pier.

Added the logo, brightened up the image (what you see on screen prints off darker than you are expecting)

I'm like this as an overall Image, now to put it in the oval and a few others that can be used.

Final image cropped the background to suit for a logo bottle etc.

Total Recall Channing Tatum photo

So its Sunday I've got me coffee it's coming up to 10pm and decided to do a Total Recall (original version) with Channing Tatum in Arnie's place.

Back in a bit with da finished article.

Finished piece, now ready to add anyone's head/face, added the logo's etc, and the lens flare, which I don't like to add but it works better with Sci-Fi stuff, the pyramid from pink floyd and the tagline. I'm semi happy with it, the coloring around the eyes i'm not happy 100% with.

EEK Challenge time

So for the next one I have sorta decided to give myself a challenge.

The original image isn't too bad, Bryce is a pretty standard front on face, Chris Pratt's is a bit more tricky being side on, the biggest challenge is they are filmed from below, so the replacement images need to try and reflect that to some degree, more with Chris though.So who did I pick? well the challenge is going to be the one and only Mr Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon.

The two images are going to be these, Lord knows what the Ozzy is going to look like but will do me best.

In the end I ended up changed Sharon's Picture it just wasn't working, Ozzy looks a bit surprised, but hey it is the one and only Ozzy!!
